Every single day that this government shutdown continues is another day that hardworking Americans suffer because Congress refuses to do its job. You were elected to serve your constituents — not to sit around while federal employees, military families, and everyday citizens go without pay. It’s time to negotiate and end this shutdown. Every hour of delay proves more and more that you care about political games over the people who put you in office. We see it, and we won’t forget it when it’s time to vote. Do your job. Work with Congress. End the shutdown now.
