I am writing to express my frustration and concern about the possibility of SNAP benefits being delayed or withheld from families in November because of the government shutdown. These benefits are essential for millions of people who depend on them to feed their families. It’s time to work with Democrats and stop waiting until you “get your way.” The country can’t afford this kind of stubbornness. Real leadership means compromise, collaboration, and compassion—not political brinkmanship. People need food, healthcare, and stability, not endless partisan fights. Please fund the government, protect SNAP and healthcare programs, and stop using working families as bargaining chips. We deserve leaders who act for the common good, not for political points.
