You would think the “Charlie Kirk Standard” would apply to social media commentary when any political activist is murdered, but today the President proved once again, it is completely acceptable to be completely hypocritical. Rob Reiner was not only a legend in TV and cinema, he was a beloved political activist. By the end of this Presidency, nobody is going to take us seriously as Republicans. The standards of decency are only applicable when we are triggered. Otherwise, go ahead and be a terrible person on social media. Great Americans were fired for saying less about Kirk than the President did about Reiner today. So much for leading by example.
