Stop Dangerous Bigger Truck Bills There is no study that proves a heavier truck is a safer truck, yet some in Congress are pushing for an increase in truck size and weight. This is an unnecessary and dangerous move that puts all motorists at greater risk. The USDOT has already recommended against increasing truck weights, and I urge you to listen to their findings. If anything, larger and heavier trucks will be harder to maneuver and put more wear and tear on key safety components like brakes, leading to more inspection violations. I ask you to stand up for public safety and reject any legislation that would put larger trucks on our roads. A Constituent Disgusted With The Way Republicans Are Throwing Away Democracy, And Returning The Country Back To An Age Of Racism & Poverty Of The Dark Ages.
