Initiate, co-sponsor, and publicly support a bill to repeal the state's "right-to-work" law here in Nevada.
According to a news article published by the Nevada Independent, titled ""Ford vows repeal of Nevada's 'right-to-work' law if elected governor," Ford said during the GangboX podcast last December. "It can be done legislatively. They can send me a bill. And if they send it to me, I'm signing it.""
Start the process now.
The Michigan Legislature repealed the state's "right-to-work" law, which took effect on Feb. 12, 2024. Ask them why.
It's my understanding that "Right-to-Work" law favors big business, not employees. "Right to Work" law is, in essence, a union-busting piece of legislation. "Right to Work" equates to an employer's right to terminate an employee at any time for any or no reason (when there is no union representation to protect employees rights).
Even better, repeal Nevada's "Right-to-Work" law and simultaneously establish checks & balances for state labor unions. Keep all parties in check.
