Speak out against ending Roadless Rule

To: Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Rep. Doggett

From: A constituent in Austin, TX

June 24

Please speak out against President Trump’s stated intention to end the 2001 “Roadless Rule” that protects millions of acres of National Forest. The value to the US by continuing to protect these forests is infinitely greater than any short-lived gains from the alternative. History remembers Theodore Roosevelt well for his devotion to conservation. It will not look kindly on those who stood aside while his legacy was sold to the highest bidder.
