I want to be very clear: this issue is being discussed, tracked, and remembered by organized voters. Communities across the country are paying attention to who in Congress defends the Constitution and who allows it to be violated. Members who fail to act should not expect votes, volunteer support, or public backing during reelection campaigns. Congress was elected to act as a check on executive overreach. If that does not happen, voters will act collectively through organizing, public accountability, and at the ballot box.
