Trump is publicly threatening to violate the Geneva Convention by striking civilian structures in Iran. Many of the strikes that have already occurred between the US and Israel are in violation, including an elementary school and a college. Congress must remove Hegseth and Trump from their positions and get control of the war. The people of the United States do not want this war, and any peace treaty will end with us in a worse power balance with Iran than we were before Trump started this. We will be paying reparations, we've already lifted sanctions, and Trump's stated goal for the war now is to reopen the Strait of Hormuz which was open before he started stacking Iran. He has accomplished nothing beyond damaging our global position and our economy. Congress MUST hold him accountable and make the madness stop.
