I am your constituent and I just learned that the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services has issued their final ruling on reducing the Medicaid tax states are allowed to impose on medical providers to help pay for Medicaid. People will lose health insurance because states won’t have enough to pay their share of Medicaid. I am sure you don’t want low income Americans to not be able to go to the doctor when they have to. Delaying medical care only increases the long term cost and increases risks to public health - all of which are not just inhumane but will cost your constituents more to cover those costs. I need you to enact a plan that provides health insurance for everyone, like H.R. 3069, the Medicare For All Of Us Act. The 2020 GAO report said it will save Americans $600 billion yearly and in 2026 dollars that’s about $750 billion. I know you want to help your constituents and I know you want to save money. Implement H. R. 3069 to do both.
