t would create unnecessary barriers that threaten the constitutional right of every American citizen to vote. I am writing as a concerned constituent to urge you to vote NO on the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act. If this legislation becomes law, i lem of widespread fraud. Instead, it erects costly, bureaucratic hu ral elections is already illegal, nor does it solve any proven prob rnment offices, seniors, students, veterans, and low-income citizen en on working families, rural residents without easy access to gove rdles that will inevitably result in millions of eligible voters be ary paperwork.
This bill does nothing meaningful to secure our ele The requirement to present documents in person poses an unfair burd ctions. It does not address the fact that noncitizen voting in fede ing silenced and disenfranchised. s who cannot afford—or in some cases, cannot even obtain—the necess to the principles of liberty and equal representation upon which o t side of history and vote NO on the SAVE Act.
