For the second time the US Post Office has lost my checks for paying bills. The checks were sent directly from the bank to the Tucson Post Office where they disappeared. I do believe that the problem is mismanagement at the top by postmaster DeJoy. He has put the priority on packages over first class mail. There's no reason that the post office should behave this badly except that the Republicans are determined to destroy it by making it unmanageable. Yes, I blame the Republican party and all of the Republican congressman for continuously undermining the Post Office to benefit the other parcel services. United States citizens should be able to expect their mail to be delivered in a timely manner, not in a month, not in 6 months. I had a Christmas card come 6 weeks after Christmas. But this is the second time my checks have disappeared without a trace. That is the post office can only trace them to where they were submitted and then never accounted for again. I don't know what happens to them. I don't know how they're fraudulently used. But I'm sure there's some scheme that's costing my bank lots of money by converting these checks to a different payee. You are responsible for this mess. You are responsible for not dealing with Postmaster DeJoy.
