Uphold EPA endangerment finding, curb emissions for our future

To: Sen. Cramer, Rep. Fedorchak, Sen. Hoeven

From: A constituent in Horace, ND

July 30

It is astonishingly irresponsible to revoke the EPA's 2009 finding that greenhouse gas pollution endangers public health and the environment. Overwhelming scientific evidence over the past decade has reinforced that pollution harms human health and contributes to climate change. Industries responsible for excessive pollution must be subject to stringent regulation and compelled to adopt sustainable practices. If they prove incapable of reform, those industries should face shutdown to safeguard the well-being of citizens and the planet. Congress has a moral obligation to take decisive action by upholding the EPA's endangerment finding and implementing strong measures to curb harmful emissions. The future of our nation and world depends on an uncompromising stance against pollution and climate disruption.
