I am writing because I do not support continued war, war crimes, and environmental terrorism in Iran. Please vote No on any supplemental funding bills, please support legislation to ban betting on this war especially by people in government, and please reflect the public's wishes by not sending any more troops to fight. The public also deserves to know our country's clear objectives and exit plan here, and our military must respect rules of engagement. The president acted in cooperation at the behest of a war criminal, Bebe Netanyahu who has been engaging in war crimes in this war against Iran. Israel has bombed hospitals, civilian populations, a desalination plant, etc. By association with Israel's illegal targeting, the US in complicit in those war crimes. Netanyahu has also threatened the use of nuclear weapons against Iran. This is beyond horrendous. We need to stop this war immediately. The inhumanity, the massive likelihood of loss of life and suffering, the illegal escalation with disregard for international law, the economic crisis being created and the environmental damage being inflicted around the world are all strong reasons to stop all continued conflict with Iran. Additionally, I am adamantly opposed to reinstitution of a draft or sending our troops in for a ground invasion. The size and terrain and population size would require at least 500,000 troops to have any hope of success but the terrain and size make it extremely difficult. Ground troops would almost certainly lead to massive casualties among our troops. One more disturbingly outrageous narrative is being espoused by Pete Hegseth and some of our military leaders to our military which relates to apocalyptic theology/end-times fascism. This points to the twisted mindset of some of our military leaders being guided by Christian Nationalism (Not Christianity). This is yet another indication of how misguided and extremely dangerous this war that the US and Israel have started with Iran is. We are creating so much more Middle East and worldwide hatred towards us. Stop this war now and stop our funding of Israel's/Netanyahu's plan to destroy all other middle eastern countries. Thank you.
