NO MORE ICE FUNDING AS A RESULT OF THIS ILLEGAL WAR
To: Sen. Kelly, Sen. Gallego

March 2
President Donald Trump illegally started a war with Iran, assassinated the Ayatollah putting our troops at risk and American citizens abroad in peril — all without seeking congressional approval in violation of the Constitution of the United States. The US military is now a target because of the illogical recklessness & unprofessional conduct of Secretary Pete Hegseth. Together in their bloodlust, they have now killed hundreds of Iranian schoolgirls & hundreds more innocent citizens. And Trump is telling us to expect more American deaths — which means nothing to a man who never served in the military & scoffed at those who did.
It is just a matter of time before we start seeing Americans marched on camera and forced to their knees & we all know what happens next. I’m heartsick about this action being handled by two men wholly incompetent to prosecute war. They are imbeciles.
Congressman Mike Lawler (R-NY17) suggested today that because we’re “now at war,” DHS needs to be “fully funded.” No it does not. ICE is excess funded through 2029. I’m asking you to hold to your promises, press your Senate colleagues to hold the line & Senator Chuck Schumer to keep his word and do not bend. ICE has all the money it needs to continue its reign of terror at home over innocent American citizens.
Demand all ICE funding be scrubbed from the bill before any DHS funding goes forward. The argument to fund ICE in any form is untenable.
