I am writing in absolute outrage over what is now on video from today’s ICE and DHS operation. The footage shows masked federal agents swarming an American citizen, wrestling him to the ground, beating him senseless, disarming him, and then shooting him repeatedly. This was not chaos or confusion. It was sustained violence carried out in public. And instead of demanding accountability, the President’s response was to immediately blame the victim, vilify him, and then threaten to bring the same kind of operation and chaos to California. That should terrify every elected official in this state. I do not see how any of this can possibly be constitutional, and I do not understand how Congress can watch a citizen beaten and killed on camera and do nothing. Your statements sound like thoughts and prayers while nothing actually changes. I am not asking for concern. I am demanding action. Stop funding the agencies responsible, force public investigations, and use your voices while you still have one. What the hell is going on in this country?
