ICE is breaking the law, terrorising communities, violating habeas corpus, disappearing people including American citizens, legal residents, and green card holders. ICE is using techniques of brutality against civilians that would not be allowed in war. Every member of Congress needs to speak out, loudly and clearly, that: arresting without warrants; detaining without trial; deporting people without due process; evading government oversight; running concentration camps, Is unacceptable and un-American. ICE is making us unsafe and deportations are shredding the rule of law and the economy. Masked thugs brutalizing our cities and tearing families apart does not make us safe or great. Masked kidnappers have always been on the wrong side of history. I expect you and every other Congress member to deny any additional funds for ICE in the CR or any future budget. Just Say NO.
