Dear Ohio Senators and Congressperson I AM HORRIFIED AND DISGUSTED! When are you and your colleagues in the Senate and House going to respond to the cataclysm now befalling the United States of America? This week we have seen Donald Trump, that malignancy in the Oval Office, pointedly ignore a unanimous order of the United States Supreme Court. We have also witnessed the unconditional support that has been given him by his attorney general, Pam Bondi, a partisan hack whom YOU voted to confirm to the cabinet. I won’t regale you with the details of the underlying detention – you are as familiar with them as anyone else. But unlike most of us, you have been complicit, allowing this lawless administration to engage in human trafficking to a foreign GULAG, eviscerate the Constitution, and relegate Congress to IRRELEVANCE. You know full well that this is a grotesque violation of the United States Constitution and the Rule of Law at its core. Virtually everything Trump has done since assuming office is equally so, yet you and your Senate colleagues, with a few notable exceptions, have done NOTHING to oppose it! It’s time to SHOW SOME COURAGE! The Republic cannot save itself! DO YOUR JOB!”
