I am writing as your constituent to urge you to support legislation that restores workers’ access to justice and opposes forced arbitration and bans on collective legal action.
No American should be required to sign away their rights simply to earn a paycheck. When workers experience wage theft, discrimination, harassment, or other workplace abuses, they deserve the opportunity to have their cases heard in court and to stand together when employers engage in widespread misconduct.
Forced arbitration overwhelmingly favors large corporations and leaves ordinary workers with fewer options, less transparency, and little meaningful recourse. Justice should not depend on who has the most money or the most lawyers.
I believe workers deserve a fair chance to hold bad actors accountable. I expect my elected officials to stand up for the rights of working people rather than protect systems that make it harder for employees to seek justice.
As your constituent, I will be paying close attention to your actions on this issue and will remember where you stand when it comes time to vote.
I ask that you support efforts to restore workers’ rights and ensure that access to justice remains available to every American.
