I am writing today to both Mr. McCormick and Mr. Fetterman. Gentlemen, it is time to stand up, be partisan, and support the Constitution that you swore an oath to uphold. The sitting president's actions are inexcusable, as are those of his cabinet.
EVERY PERSON under the U.S. Constitution has the right to habeas corpus. This does not extend only to citizens.
The fact that the president's poorly trained minions are permitted to execute people is unacceptable. The fact that they are not trained to verify someone's legal status before detention is also deplorable.
Gentlemen, you are both complicit and your constituents DEMAND that you do better.
Mr. Fetterman, I'm especially disappointed in you. I'd have thought you'd have a much better understanding and empathy on this issue, based on your wife's own immigration experiences. How this poor woman must feel being stuck with your soulless, spineless self.
Read the room, gentlemen. We the people are ready for better from you both. While this is true on many issues, the blatant killing of US Citizens is currently the most urgent.
Oh, and release the Epstein files. Don't worry, we haven't forgotten that you're both protecting pedofiles. The more delay there is, the more you ALL look guilty and involved.
