Gov Walz, I am writing to encourage you to step out of the running for the upcoming election for governor. You have done a lot of good things for this state, but the simple fact is too many people have become jaded towards you and the existing legislators. Minnesota does not have a track record of electing governors for a third term. I know if you run we will have a republican governor. Minnesota needs new blood to represent the Democrats in this race. Please, drop out of the upcoming race and let a younger, fresher face stand for the Democratic Party. Again, I thank you for your service. Best regards,
