You must oppose any 2026 federal budget bill that cuts funding for public schools and education. Our kids depend on these resources and programs, and they deserve better than senseless budget cuts. I am a current educator who recognizes education as a form of liberation, empowerment, and justice. Children require education to help them hone skills that are necessary for their futures. They also need the community that school provides. Teachers deserve to be able to serve in public schools and teach important history, science, and other skills/information. Every child has the right to an education. You cannot let this be taken away.
