House Bill 4951 was an unfair sabotage against owners of solar panels. We were incentivized to adopt green energy by the state, and then stabbed in the back after adopting it. We were proud adopters of this technology two years ago, and suddenly we're being charged with an additional fee after months of stable energy prices, contributing to our local grid, and reducing our carbon footprint. Solar panels should be explicitly exempt from this law, and we should not be charged retroactively. This is an outright sabotage and betrayal of everyone in the state that has been adopting green energy.
