Not Another Facility! The Department of Homeland Security is trying to expand ICE detention rapidly. They are buying up massive warehouse facilities and converting them into detention facilities that are deliberately kept far from lawyers, family, and any public accountability. There are more than 200 rallies planned this Saturday, but that is only a tiny fraction of the resistance to this evil. Many of us are too depleted fro resentatives and Elected Officials to communicate and act on our behalf! Many of our community members cannot take the risk to leave home to get groceries, go to work, or see a doctor, much less demonstrate. We need our Rep Their commitment to the Constitution will be evident by whether or not they prevent our state from allowing one more facility! We need our Representatives to write and pass legislation, immediately, that will prevent one more unlawful machine from churning up our communities! Their next steps can tell every property owner, every local official, every would-be contractor: "No! Not one more! This community is watching and we will not be quiet."
