The big beautiful bill is not what republicans promised. You are blowing up the deficit, downgrading our credit standing and supporting tax cuts for the wealthy while taking away Medicaid. Medicaid is why I am healthy today. I thank god every day we had Medicaid and SNAP growing up. I’m now a law abiding, tax paying citizen. I’m a veteran and a healthcare provider having worked in underserved areas for years. This bill is an atrocity for America’s poorest. And while I am in favor of some of the tax incentives for energy … I am not in favor of destroying public land, drilling in more public land or undermining our ability to also seek other forms of renewable energy. We will one day run out of oil… can we be honest?? Most other countries on earth are diversifying their energy not actively working to make pollution and climate change worse. Please vote no on this absolute garbage reconciliation bill.
