Block tax payer settlement payments to January 6 rioters! I was watching TV on January 6 and was horrified to see U.S. Citizens invade the Capitol for the purpose of preventing the voting results from being certified and to keep Trump as President of the U.S. in spite of the results. People were shouting kill the VP and Pelosi and damage was done and Police were injured resulting in some deaths. What my own eyes saw was an Insurrection - plain and simple. Those insurrectionists should have gone to jail and Trump should have been deemed unworthy to run for any office again for instigating an insurrection against the government of the United States. I will never forget the horror of the moment and the anger I felt against the instigator, Donald Trump. Now here we are with that maniac as our President and he has somehow contrived a way to pay those rioting insurrectionists with taxpayers’ dollars. This is the last straw! Where do you draw the line? We cannot let those insurrectionists get any of our tax dollars. It is bad enough that Trump pardoned them and they did not have to pay for their crime…but to give them money? This is too overwhelming to think of, let alone to actually do. Please, please don’t let tax payer money go to the January 6 insurrectionists.
