I urge you not to vote for Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker in the new term. I believe that the people who pillaged this country over the last couple of years need to be held accountable, and there need to be consequences, up to and including new laws to enshrine “accepted norms” into law, impeachment and jail time. This is not about “getting even,” but about making sure that this slip toward fascism does not happen to our country again, and that there are consequences for doing so. If Jeffries would rather “forgive and forget,” then he is not the right person to lead the House, as we recover from this nightmare
