Investigate Kash Patel and hold him accountable for his misuse of taxpayer-funded resources. This administration promised to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse. Patel is a textbook example of exactly that, and he's running the FBI.
The documented pattern is damning. Patel used an FBI jet to fly to Penn State to watch his girlfriend perform. He allegedly demanded VIP snorkeling, jet skiing, and helicopter rides during official international travel, serious enough that Rep. Jamie Raskin and Sen. Dick Durbin sent a formal letter on July 8 detailing the allegations. Sen. Chuck Grassley separately questioned why the FBI purchased BMW X5s instead of standard-issue vehicles. The Atlantic reported Patel was drinking excessively on the job, a claim his own viral beer-chugging video does little to refute.
The FBI says Patel reimbursed personal travel per OMB rules, but reimbursement does not make the conduct acceptable. A sitting FBI Director arranging fake field office visits to cover personal trips is a breach of public trust, full stop. Open a formal investigation, demand a full audit of all FBI expense accounts and reimbursements with particular scrutiny on his, and if the findings confirm what has already been reported, remove him from office.
