Disgust with the “Final Battle” ad

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. Self, Sen. Cornyn

From: A verified voter in McKinney, TX

September 29

I am writing to express my strong disapproval of Donald Trump’s “Final Battle” advertisement that aired this weekend. Its rhetoric is deeply divisive, and its apparent reuse of messaging from the 2024 campaign raises serious concerns about whether campaign-related material is being repurposed appropriately. I urge you to seek clarity on the ad’s funding, sponsorship disclosures, coordination, and compliance with applicable federal election laws. If it was financed, distributed, or targeted through channels not properly disclosed—or if it involved prohibited coordination or misuse of campaign resources—those issues deserve prompt review by the Federal Election Commission and other appropriate authorities. Regardless of legality, rhetoric framing political opponents and institutions as enemies to be defeated undermines democratic norms. I hope you will publicly oppose this kind of messaging and support transparent, accountable political advertising.
