Please stop the destruction of our nation’s Capitol. Mr. Trump is destroying our national landmarks. The East Wing of the White House is rubble. The lawn was debased by a for-profit UFC performance. The Reflecting Pool is a travesty, and now he is having a fence installed to keep people away from our property. He plans to build a grotesquely large arch honoring himself. The Kennedy Center remains shrouded in tarpaulins. And of course this is all deflection as he and his minions shred the Constitution. How long will you and your colleagues stand by and allow democracy—and our nation’s Capitol—to be destroyed?
