Impeach RFK now to Protect Public Health

To: Sen. Moody, Rep. Mills, Sen. Scott

From: A constituent in Sanford, FL

June 1

I urge you to support impeachment proceedings against HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Secretary Kennedy has repeatedly demonstrated that he is unwilling or unable to fulfill the responsibilities of his office consistent with scientific evidence, professional standards, and the oath he swore to uphold. Recent congressional testimony has revealed the extent to which career scientists and subject matter experts have been sidelined, excluded, or driven from leadership positions within our nation’s public health agencies. The time for investigation has passed. Secretary Kennedy has had more than a year to implement policies that place ideology ahead of evidence and politics ahead of public health. Americans rely on HHS, the CDC, and related agencies to provide accurate, science-based guidance that protects lives. Undermining scientific expertise weakens those institutions and puts the public at risk. Public health should never be dictated by personal beliefs or political agendas. When the nation’s top health official disregards established science, dismantles expert leadership, and erodes trust in the agencies charged with protecting Americans, Congress has a constitutional duty to act. I urge you to publicly support and vote for the impeachment and removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from office before further damage is done to our nation’s public health infrastructure.
