I am writing to urge you to take action on a matter of serious financial and national security concern: the lack of transparency surrounding Trump family cryptocurrency ventures, including the $TRUMP memecoin and World Liberty Financial. A House Judiciary Committee staff report has documented that these ventures attracted billions in investment from foreign nationals and foreign government-linked entities with no transparency about who is buying in or why. This raises profound questions about money laundering, foreign influence, and conflicts of interest at the highest levels of government. The Justice Department has also disbanded its National Cryptocurrency Enforcement Team and rolled back numerous investigations into crypto firms directly tied to Trump family financial interests. The Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations has already opened a preliminary inquiry into these matters. I urge you to: 1. Support independent, bipartisan investigation into foreign investment in presidential cryptocurrency ventures. 2. Oppose the rollback of anti-money laundering enforcement in the cryptocurrency sector. 3. Support legislation requiring full financial transparency for elected officials' crypto holdings and ventures.
