Robert F. Kennedy Jr. must be removed as the Health and Human Services Secretary. How many CDC employees and public health experts have to sound the alarm before Congress acts? His views and actions are threatening the health of all Americans. Kennedy has no medical or scientific training. His experience is as an attorney for the anti-vaccine movement. In his Senate hearings, he showed himself to be unhinged and disconnected from reality. Vaccines are safe and effective. We need an HHS Secretary who respects science and does not make policy based on conspiracy theories. Is this really the person you want in charge of protecting us during the next pandemic, which is bound to happen? Is this the person you want in charge of your health and who determines what vaccines you can and can’t get? Is this the person you want in charge of your children’s and grandchildren’s health, and their protection from preventable disease? You can’t be comfortable with that prospect. No reasonable, sane person could. My wife and I urge you to do everything in your power to remove this unstable, anti-vaccine lunatic from office.
