In the face of the gang murder of Alex Pretti, immediate action must be taken to hold all involved agents accountable to the highest degree, and to bring an end to all armed ICE operations until this department can be brought into order. Agents knocked him to the ground, beat him, pulled his still-holstered weapon off, then shot him repeatedly. There is no lack of clarity or room for argument in this incident. This would be a sickening and inexcusable way to treat anyone in broad daylight in the street, let alone a VA nurse, with no priors, who was only helping another bystander who was being abused, and filming the incident. There is no way for any decent human, let alone any reasonable American citizen, to possibly defend these agents' actions. Whether they be malicious or inept or both, they cannot be allowed to serve a single day more, and must be held accountable for this blatant murder.
