Invoke Byrd's Rule

To: Sen. Schmitt, Sen. Hawley

From: A constituent in Springfield, MO

May 30

The Big Beautiful Bill is full of non-budget reconciliation items that have no place being voted on as a single item. I urge...no demand you, to use Byrd's rule to call out the items that don't belong. Voting through a budget reconciliation that includes items such as AI regulation, court regulation, and even tries to demand executive branch complacency of all people involved is ridiculous and frankly the most un-american thing you can possibly do. It is your responsibility to listen to your constituents and right now we are demanding that you vote on items independently of each other. The Big Beautiful Bill is big bold bullshit that hurts all Americans, including you, if you pass it as is. Please invoke Byrd's Rule now!
