We must stop funding and supporting Israel's genocide and land grab. We must allow aid to reach Palestinians. What's happening there is wrong in the exact same way the ICE raids are wrong here. I know we both care deeply about the human beings who are being terrorized, kidnapped and brutalized by ICE. We both know the raids are about racism and colonialism, not immigration. And I think we can both see the wrongness of European Americans calling Indigenous Americans "immigrants" on their own continent. Israel's genocide in Palestine is likewise about racism and colonialism, and land. Indigenous Palestinians are miscast as invaders. Yet as Israel bombs them (along with doctors, journalists and aid workers) and starves them, it also steals more and more of their land. This is Israel's holocaust, and ours. In both cases, I am pro-humanity, pro-dignity, and pro saving lives. All lives. If you are too, you must stand up for human rights. We must stop allowing genocide, stop funding it, stop it every way we can. Ethnic cleansing is wrong there as much as it's wrong here. I don't expect to get more than an awful form letter, again. But I can't be silent and do nothing, because I'm still a human being. Are you?
