I am writing because the Global Sumud Flotilla, the civillian-led humanitarian mission to bring aid to Gaza, was illegally boarded by the Israeli military and citizens from over 40 countries worldwide were kidnapped. Two of these citizens are constituents of yours, Adnaan and Torleif Stumo. I urgently demand that you work to protect this humanitarian mission to Gaza, which carries US citizens, and to ensure the safety and release of your constituents. It is your job as their representative to protect them. The Global Sumud Flotilla was operating legally under international and maritime law. Israel's interception of the flotilla is a war crime. When U.S. citizens decide to take it upon themselves to relieve the people of Gaza from blockade and genocide, in a legal and peaceful way, the Israeli military has no right to attack them relentlessly and to kidnap them. Please do your job and protect your constituents.
