Alligator Alcatraz

To: Sen. Cruz, Rep. McCaul, Sen. Cornyn

From: A constituent in Austin, TX

July 18, 2025

Shut down Alligator Alcatraz and all inhumane ICE detention centers. Alligator Alcatraz is a prison camp that all Americans should be ashamed to have in our country. But it is not alone in inhumane treatment for people merely suspected of being in the US illegally. According to our founding fathers, liberty is an unalienable human right. Process deportation in a way that honors human dignity and rights. Shut down Alligator Alcatraz.
