No deportations to Rwanda

To: Sen. Cornyn, Sen. Cruz, Rep. Williams

From: A constituent in Stephenville, TX

April 30

In March the US government quietly deported Omar Ameen from Iraq, to Rwanda. This was done in secret with no one reporting on it until now. Main stream media ignored it. The US paid Rwanda $100,000 to do this. In no way was it proven "beyond a reasonable doubt" that Ameen had committed a crime before his deportation. He was not convicted of a crime. To do this in secret is shameful. At least 10 more deportations to Rwanda are planned. Where is Congressional oversight for this horrible action? I oppose this "under the carpet" deportations. It was simply a way for the government to avoid the public criticism of the deportations to El Salvador.
