An Open Letter

To: Rep. García

From: A verified voter in La Grange, IL

November 5

I am writing to plead with you to vote no on speaker, Hakeem Jeffries, and instead hold a democratic nomination process for the speaker of the house. I supported Democrats up and down the ballot, but feel strongly that Jefferies does not represent me or the majority of Democratic voters. We did not come this far for you to elect a corporate shill who will stifle any accountability and progressive reforms. VOTE NO ON SPEAKER JEFFRIES!
