Protect Federal Workers and the Integrity of Union Dispute Resolution

I am writing to express serious concern over recent actions involving the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service and the broader attacks on federal labor protections.
Federal workers deserve neutral dispute resolution processes that are free from political interference. Weakening independent arbitration undermines collective bargaining rights, damages employee morale, and threatens the stability of the federal workforce. These actions appear to be part of a broader effort to strip unions of their ability to effectively represent employees.
Many federal employees dedicate their careers to serving the public, often under difficult conditions and without the protections available in the private sector. Undermining unions and labor protections does not improve government efficiency. It creates fear, instability, and political pressure within agencies that should remain professional and nonpartisan.
I urge you to oppose any effort that politicizes labor disputes, weakens collective bargaining rights, or interferes with independent arbitration processes for federal workers. Congress must provide oversight and ensure that federal employees retain fair representation and due process protections.
Please stand with federal workers and defend the integrity of our civil service system.
