Instead, we’re accelerating into another catastrophic recession with our eyes wide open. This isn’t just bad policy — it’s a betrayal of your oath to serve all your constituents, not just the donor class. Rural communities, working families, disabled people, veterans — the people you represent — will be crushed under the weight of this economic injustice. You cannot balance the budget on the backs of the vulnerable while padding the pockets of those who hoard wealth. We are already living in the fallout of austerity, and the tariffs are exacerbating everything. Another round of tax cuts for the rich will turn this crisis into an outright collapse.
