As a Texan living in Austin (78759), I am alarmed by Secretary Hegseth’s conference remarks demanding ideological loyalty and threatening resignations of officers, coupled with talk of using the military in U.S. cities. I urge you to: • Oppose any misuse of the Texas National Guard for partisan purposes. • Prepare to legally challenge any unconstitutional federal deployment of troops in our state. • Publicly affirm Texas’s commitment to civilian control of the military and the apolitical nature of our armed forces. Please let me know what steps you will take to defend Texans’ rights and uphold these principles.
