It is preposterous that children attending public schools are unable to be reliably transported to and from school because schools are prioritizing the private school students out of fear of fines.
This is not a complaint of envy, my children attend a private school l,but when we made the choice to do that we took on all the additional responsibilities that came with that choice. This includes transportation.
The entitlement and gall of a system that prioritizes private school students transportation at the expense of public school students is the height of spoiled entitled behavior. This is flatly wrong and should be reversed. Ed choice didn’t do nearly what you all bragged as far as making a private education affordable. All it did was give the schools a reason to increase tuition, so it is still the poorest of our people attending public schools and needing that transportation, not those who are doing well enough to afford private school.
Reverse this despicable practice.
