What is the mission in Venezuela? Pres. Trump insists that Maduro is working with the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua to attack the U.S. with illegal narcotics. This seems to be the justification for U.S. strikes on small boats, that your administration claims have been trafficking drugs to the U.S. Your administration has implied the deadly drugs it claims the boats are trafficking are illicit fentanyl, although it has told Congress they were transporting cocaine, which it has now indicted Maduro for trafficking. So, why were small boat strikes to KILL civilians and why didn’t the mission just kill Maduro? If we are randomly killing drug traffickers, why not him? What is the mission – drug control? If not, then why are we killing civilians? And why is the President talking about running the country and taking oil from Venezuela? Is this a law enforcement action – if so, then why is the military running the mission? Does the US plan to force regime change – why? What exactly is going on? Apparently you don’t know because Congress gets no briefing because the administration doesn’t TRUST you – they say YOU might LEAK. That’s not a compliment. I expect an answer.
