Just say no to public funding of the ballroom. The ballroom has not been properly approved or authorized. The East Wing of the White House was torn down without proper authorization, notification, or consideration. Per President Donald Trump, it is fully funded by private donations. Donations that are benefiting the donors not the average citizen. President Trump was not obligated to attend the White House Correspondents Dinner. He normally has not attended. Using the incident to obtain public money is simply a shameless money grab of $400 million. Please do not authorize any money for the current ballroom plan. Please do not authorize any building to replace the East Wing for the next three years. At which point please authorize a wing that includes an area people can tour. I would love to see duplicates of the New Deal Murals or similar in the new East Wing.
