Give FDA the funding and regular that it needs to protect American food. The US consumers are subjected to unknown risks because Congress refuses to to give FDA the authority and funding to assure us of some level of safety in the food we consume. I charge you with deliberately blocking FDA's efforts to protect us. Witness this report that food producers are injecting chemicals of unknown safety into US food: "Investigation finds ‘secretly’ added chemicals of unknown safety in U.S. food supply" By CNN. This is in addition to the known risks of accelerated meat production plants and the related diminished workers safety. This is what we expect from our government.
