I’m writing today because yesterday, Israel announced its intention to annex parts of the West Bank. It is also not meeting its commitments made to the US for humanitarian aid for Gazan civilians. Now, with only three months to go before handing the White House over to Donald Trump, what are you going to do about it? It’s already a stain on America that we’ve continued supporting Israel monetarily and with equipment through a year of indiscriminate slaughter in Gaza, despite the obliteration of hospitals, schools, universities, and tens if not hundreds of thousand of lives. Will you do nothing to save Palestinians before giving power to the man who told Netanyahu to “finish the job?” Or will you use your power in the precious little time you have left to try to apply some brakes? Please, Mr. President, show some humanity and do something before it’s too late.
