Condemn Trump’s actions in Iran

To: Sen. Capito, Sen. Justice, Rep. Miller

From: A constituent in Charleston, WV

February 28

I urge you to publicly condemn Trump’s unauthorized war on Iran. He has not sought approval from Congress, the only governing body that can legally declare war. By refusing to condemn his actions, you are handing over the powers of Congress, your own power, to one person. What would prevent the president from claiming more power in the future? He is endangering the lives of countless citizens and military members, both our own and of other countries. Please reclaim your power and do your duty to stop this illegal war.
