Trump and this administration are trying to weaponize the shutdown to further dismantle the country. This is a violation of the separation of powers, among other laws, and cruel. Democrats are not in control of any of the branches of government and did not cause the shutdown. Republicans, who are in charge, trying to keep people from having access to affordable healthcare did. DOGE already caused an amazing amount of damage in the stupidest and lamest way. Trump’s ignorance and spiraling dementia cause more daily. Republicans shouldn’t be doubling down on cruelty, but should agree to health care and reopen the government. You’re making our country look weak and stupid.
