I am writing to you as a constituent to demand not only your support for impeachment proceedings against Secretary Kristi Noem, but also your public and unambiguous advocacy for that action across all official platforms. This includes floor statements, press releases, and social media.
Recent actions taken under Secretary Noem’s authority represent a profound breach of law, constitutional norms, and basic standards of public service. Allegations involving the killing of American citizens, the detention of young children, and the use of federal law enforcement in the service of political ambition are not policy disagreements. They are matters of criminal accountability and constitutional order.
Impeachment is not symbolic. It is the minimum institutional response when executive authority is credibly accused of lawless conduct. Silence, procedural delay, or private concern without public action signals complicity rather than caution.
I expect you to publicly support impeachment proceedings and to co sponsor or vote for articles of impeachment. I also expect you to clearly and repeatedly state your position in Congress and in public forums where constituents can see it. Finally, I expect you to reject any attempt to reframe this situation as partisan conflict rather than a question of law, oversight, and accountability.
History does not judge officials by what they privately believed. It judges them by what they were willing to say and do when institutional norms were under direct threat. If impeachment is warranted, and it is, then public leadership is required rather than quiet agreement.
As a voter, I will be watching closely. Your response and your public actions will directly inform my future political support. I expect a written reply outlining your position and the steps you are taking.
